President & COO Steven F. Smith announces Verity Bank reaches $110 Million in Assets

Steven F. Smith, President & COO of Verity Bank, Inc., announced that Verity Bank has reached $110 million in total assets as it nears the two year anniversary of it’s opening on October 27th, 2010. “While it has been a difficult year in the banking industry, I am very thankful for our growth in our second year. Our community has embraced us and has come to expect the high level of service we provide,” said Mr. Smith.

Verity Bank, a full service community bank in Barrow County, opened its doors on Monday, October 27th 2008, after raising $21.7 million in capital. Verity Bank’s service culture and attention to detail has created a standard of banking that is unprecedented. “We truly care about our clients and the community.
